Why working WITH Me is better than an agency
Agencies have to pay rent on an office. They have conference rooms with expensive equipment. They have “Pizza Fridays” and game rooms and all that stuff. Sound fun? It costs money and they pass that on to you.
Here’s another thing about advertising and marketing agencies: they thrive on selling you services they can bill you for month-after-month under a contract. They usually don’t care whether those services will help your bottom line, they only want to justify the existence of a department they have created. Agencies want to add lots of clients, and as they do they become bloated, inefficient, and unable to react quickly. As they get bigger and bigger, you become less important to them.
Most importantly, a marketing agency can’t offer you a personal relationship that an experienced freelancer can. I’ve worked for agencies. I’ve helped develop an agency model from the inside, and I grew frustrated and moved on because agencies don’t “get it.” They churn through employees and provide poor customer service. Do you want three different people working on your campaign in six months? Do you want to have to explain your core business goals over and over again to the new young digital marketers who have suddenly appeared to manage your account? Do you want to struggle to get personal attention? Do you want to pay an agency that’s also working for your competitor at the same time? I’ve seen all of this happen. I won’t be a part of that system. That’s why I’ve taken my 20+ years of experience and decided to help a select group of clients.
I don’t have to pay for a slew of employees and train new people every few months. I don’t have to pass on my overhead to you, because I have very little overhead. I listen to you and learn your business. I consider myself an extension of your business: your marketing expert. I make sure you can access me, learn from me, and grow your business. I’m transparent about the work I do for you. I’m also much more affordable than an agency, but I can provide the same quality of digital marketing.
